When I was young we had two milk cows.
The only time they were fed any thing other
than grass or hay was when they were being
milked and that was a small amount of cotton
seed meal. We drank raw milk every day and
made butter from that same milk. Very tasty
and I felt that it was very healthy.
To add a little humor, the cat and the dog
always came to the corral at milking time to
get their fresh milk . We would squirt the milk
toward them and they would catch it and lap
it up.

use to live on dairy farm , and yes Milk straight from the cow is the best . Take the cream make awesome desserts and icecream . Not to mention take it and spoon it over berrys . Its the best .

grew up on it. my mom used to have to make sure she had some on hand if i were to drink milk.. almost 50 now and still can't stand store bought milk -- haven't drank milk in a looooonnnnngggggg time. and no you do not get sick from it. and let's not forget the cream in the bottom of the container oooohh so good!!!

Yes, but actually they do get some "grain" as the field matures. It's hard to find, as it is illegal to sell here.
