I'd give him a puncher's chance. No doubt his skills have eroded, but when you've got as powerful a punch as a fighter like Foreman, Morrison, Tyson, Shavers, and Marciano, then there's always a chance you could land that one punch and win... as Marciano did over Walcott, and as Foreman did over Moorer (though to be fair Big George did land some other good shots in that round).
I imagine Morrison's slower, and his defense was never top notch. And I also imagine a lot of folks aren't going to want to fight him due to the HIV scare. However it's also important to keep in mind that the heavyweight division isn't really strong right now. I don't give Tommy a great chance, but if he can get someone to give him a title shot he's always got that outside chance.

One of the best Knockouts ive ever seen was when Ray Mercer nearly took Tommy Morrisons head off...I was reading a bit about Tommy yesterday...He said when he had that positive test...It was a cheap $10 test and since then he has had numurous tests (costing up to $3000 a time)and they have all been negative...Who knows, stranger things have happened, with the state of the Heavyweight Div its possible.....By the way he DID have one hell of a left hook....

Unlikely any current title holder would risk fighting any body with even a chance of landing a punch if they didn't have to. Aids or not, odds of Morrison ever getting the chance to fight for a title are slim to none. Holyfield will get a shot before Morrison.

H E L L N O! he was decent at best, never great. furthermore, i don't believe for one second that that was a false hiv test. do you know how many different doctor's opinions he would have had before he went public. i'm thinking he found a drug to mask it, or get rid of it, the same way Magic did.

Nope. No heavyweight champion would risk getting in the ring with Morrison despite his "miraculous" recovery from a disease that at this time is incurable, HIV/AIDS.

He can't be a real life Rocky. Rocky was a good guy, Morrison is a man-whore jailbird. But his mullet was legendary in Rocky 5.
