Here are 2 examples for you:

Fruit Salad Smoothie

1 medium ripe peach

3/4 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries

1/2 frozen banana -- peeled

2 cups of evaporated milk

4 tablespoons of orange juice

1 teaspoon vanilla

4-6 ice cubes

Cinnamon - optional

Combine all ingredients in a blender except the cinnamon and ice. With blender running, add ice cubes - one at a time. Divide smoothie into 4 clilled glasses. Serves 4.

Hawaiian Silk Smoothie

1 cup of soy milk

1/2 cup of pineapple juice

1 frozen banana - peeled

1 tablespoon of Maple syrup

2 tablespoons of non-fat milk

5-6 ice cubes

1 tablespoon of coconut milk

Place all of the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smoothie consistency is reached (approximately 30 seconds). Serves 2.

Peach and Blueberry Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:
3 ripe peaches or nectarines, pitted and chopped
1 cup blueberries
1 banana, preferably frozen
1 cup low fat or non-fat vanilla yogurt

PREPARATION:
Place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Thin with some calcium-fortified orange juice if desired.
Makes 4 servings


Peanut Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:
1 small ripe banana, sliced
2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup cold milk
banana slice and chopped peanuts for garnish, if desired

PREPARATION:
Set aside a slice of the banana for garnish, and put remaining banana, peanut butter, and honey in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add milk and blend until foamy. Garnish with banana slice rolled in chopped peanuts, if desired. Serve immediately.


Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon sugar or use sugar substitute
1 cup lemon yogurt (8 ounces)
3/4 cup milk
fresh strawberries for garnish if desired

PREPARATION:
Blend strawberries and sugar in blender until mashed; add yogurt and milk. Blend just until foamy. Garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired. Serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings, about 8 ounces each.

1 cup Apple Juice
1 cup Fat Free Frozen Yogurt
1 cup Strawberries
1/2 Banana
1/2 cup crushed ice.

Put this into a blender, and blend until smooth. This is almost identical to the one that you get from the "smoothie" store.

I just throw all of the fruit and yogurt that I can find in my house and blend it up. It's also good if you put in a spoonful of sugar. You also need ice, and sprite is good in it too!

1 avocado + 1 tsp of sugar + 1 tsp of condensed milk...put all in the mixer...yummy!
