If your cat is dehydrated and "clumsy" you should take it to the vet. There could be something serious wrong. Dehydration is serious for any animal but particularly for small animals like cats. A vet can help by rehydrating and also treating any underlying condition leading to dehydration.

Feed him wet cat food. In view of the recent recall, feed him only one of the high-quality loaf-style canned cat food like Natural Balance or Blue Spa (not involved with Menufoods and does not contain wheat gluten). Mix the food with some water. Canned cat food is usually 75% water. Eating wet food will be a great help to your cat at this time. An alternative is to feed him water-based human tuna in a can. Give him all the juice.
Hope your cat is OK.

How do you know your cat is dehydrated, why is it "clumsy"? You should take your cat to the vet, dehydration (if that is what's going on) is best treated with subcutaneous fluids.

vet. now. have you been feeding your cat any foods from the recall? most wet foods and now atleast one dry cat food have been recalled because of the potential to cause kidney failure and death.
i found a cat a few years ago that sort of went strange like that slowly over a week. i came home one night and he could not move. he was awake, slightly alert but couldnt even lift his head. it turnes out he was poisoned. there are alot of sick people out there that dont like cats on their property and will poison them. also there are numerous things around your house that you probably would not even realize that can poison your animals.
please go to a vet today. even if you have to call an after hours one.
