Sure it does because people get the idea that there is no creator God to whom they will have to give an account about what they did regarding Jesus. Carbon dating is being shown to be unreliable but you don't hear about that on the evening news like you do some new story about finding some bones that supposedly support the theory of evolution.
Check out this link from a chapter of The Evolution Cruncher for more info http://www.godrules.net/evolutioncruncher/c06a.htm

Well you see Martin, that is the lovely thing about Science. It is always scrutinizing itself. Double, triple checking. Science knows how to admit when it is wrong and always, always keeps on searching. That's why I trust Science more than I do someone like yourself. However, Science married to Empathy is the best combination.
Carbon was dating someone. I don't know who. Since Carbon is related to Science, I'm sure that Carbon is an accountable sort of individual. So don't worry too much.
Sadly Science has been known to slip up and fool around with that little cheet Dogma! You know Dogma? I think Dogma has been flurting with you too! Be careful Martin. Dogma may get you by the _ _ _ _ s! Dogma does that dear.
Watch out for Dogma....the real trouble maker in this mix!
Peace all!
PS Martin, don't take it personal hon...you handed that one to me. Wink.

If you don't believe in radioactive decay then be sure to act upon your beliefs and refuse to wear any lead shielding the next times you have x-rays.

How does acceptance of science have anything to do with moral decay. Morality is not any part of science.

your question is irrelevant...the two are mutually exclusive subjects...and if you bother to check the statistics, there are as many christians in jail as anyone else regardless of beliefs. morality is, after all, neither absolute nor relative...it is provisional...decided by society, not some mythical beast.
