Why insist on insulting one's beliefs?
Everyone has the right to BELIEVE or DIS-BELIEVE. It is simple human rights.
If you believe the Bible is a fairy-tale, and believe in evolution, you have a right to be in here, but science is a better site to discuss science, unless you just really feel superior insulting people because they believe the Bible, and that's why you are really here, to insult people.
Yes, it is rude, and immature to insult people.
DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL SUPERIOR????? WHY?

Random caps are to express a point, not out of anger or attitude.

Simple psychological test, 99% of you failed, didn't even read entire question.

jump to assume. not good.

Pro-evolutionists do not know that there can not be any evolution with out initial creation. Only that exists can evolve, and in order to come to existence one has first to be created.

They are required to develop patience.

I do not insult, so the question of whether I feel superior does no apply to me. However, I did feel that my opinion should be given as you seem to be sorely mistaken about pretty much everything you said.

In my experience, it's fundimentalists that are most insulting of peoples' beliefs, not "pro-evolutionists" as you've claimed. Additionally, while it is true you're allowed to believe whatever you like, you are NOT allowed to push those beliefs on others, which is what most fundies seem to want to do.

Evolution is not a system of belief, it has as much credibility as theories of a heliocentric solar system (despite what pro-creationism propaganda would have you believe). It does not have an agenda and without it a lot of modern biological studies would not exist, particularly those relating to disease prevention.

Anyway, I know you're unlikely to care about the above paragraph so feel free to give me a thumb down. Just at least try to have an open mind next time before you scoff at something you have apparently no knowledge of...

I just don't understand how Science stands in the way with your personal relationship with God or Higher Being.

Aha, then why do the Evangelical want Creationism or Intelligent Design taught in Science classes?

Anyway, not everyone who believes in evolution is an atheist. There are some religious/spiritual people who can still think and have the ability to reason.

Your question assumes that those who believe in science do not believe in god.
This is common among christians and creationists on R&S, and they begin the debates by asking questions to atheists concerning science. Atheists simply return in kind with more complex science questions that seem to confound those who put their faith in the bible rather than study science.
Insulting one's beliefs happens quite a bit on both sides of this coin.
I've seen many a christian insult atheists and non-christian beliefs with accusing us all of satan worship (no offense to true satan worshippers, as I happen to know what you believe).
This is the nature of R&S, and it doesn't change that much. However, if you want to see change, be the change you want to see. Try asking a question in a nicer fashion and see if you don't get nicer results.

You just said that science was for the science section, but asked a question with evolution in the title. Hypocritical much?

Sorry, I don't feel the need to respect beliefs that infringe upon my rights. If I believed I had the right to kill you for disagreeing with me, should you respect that belief? Of course not.

You already asked this. I recognized the random All caps and emotional instability that's showing even through the text.

Why don't you stop foaming at the mouth a moment and try rephrasing your question so that you're not insulting the people you're directing it at? It reeks of hypocrisy that you demand we not insult people...by insulting us first.

EDIT : No one wants to answer the question. You're acting unbalanced and snapping in all directions like a rabid dog. Why would anyone want to do you the favour of answering you so that you can attack them?

Since many aspects of science disprove many aspects of religion, why should evolutionists be in here? Its like saying "We don't want to here things that argue against our beliefs." Its like covering your ears and shouting really loud whenever someone in real life says something you disagree with. True there are some people who go out of their way in insult people. But then that happens on both sides, Christians do it just as often.

DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL SUPERIOR????? WHY?"

Does it make YOU feel superior to judge these folks?

I'm just wondering.

Blessings on your path.

We do not want other to join religions too because religions have cause many many many people to die. It separates people. If you dont believe me you can ask the victims of the Holocaust, Iraq/Iran, Palestine/Israel, 911 and thats just breaking the surface that they didnt die because of religion. Oh you cant , they are dead. If there was no religion to separate many many may still be alive.

When people come here to present religious belief as science, and pseudoscience as truth, then it is incumbent upon us to counter those views with the reality.
