for digital cameras, it says it has a zoom like 4x optical zoom and 8x digita zooml. whats the difference??????? and when somethin says "Image Stabilization, whats that mean???/ please help mee!

To make it simple, only consider the optical zoom. This is the zoom from the lens.

Image Stabilization (or Vibration Reduction or Anti-Shake) is a way the camera moves the lens or sensor to keep you from bluring the picture. Really helps.

okay so the optical zoom is how far your camera will zoom in (8x zooms in farther than 4x) so that all depends on what your taking pictures of. The image stabilization is a program in the camera that stables the image, say you have a shaky hand when it comes to taking pictures well with most cameras your picture would come out blurry with image stabilization it does its best to get you a clear picture (I recommend it, it really helps)
