i like this guy how do i get him to ask me out?(my mom wont let me ask him)?

i realy realy like him the thing is hes kinda like emo???he doesnt cut but he dresses in all black and is in a rock band and well im a hugge prep but the thing is im not all that populare(im soo not a nerd eather, im more like that girl who is friends with pop. people at skool but outside of skool is just normal?)so how do i hint to him that i like him without telling him (he also sits next to me in math we never talk but we did last year)and im to shy to just go up to himand say hey!(the last guy i asked out rejected me so never doing that again)

You won't like this, but go with the advice your mom is giving you.

Number one, you don't get anyone to do anything they already don't really want to do. Number two, if a guy doesn't have the "cajones" to ask you out, why would you even want to put yourself in the position of being "the vulnerable one" and setting yourself up for rejection?

you dont really need to let your mom into that part of your life if she's not going to support you and be happy for you. im assuming that she doesn't want you to ask him because he's "emo" and unpopular. Ask him out if your comfortable or just flirt and hang out a few times (out for a walk/coffee/mall) and if he;s interested he'll make a move and if not, you should make the move if you think he;s worth it!

i would just ask him anyways. If ur afraid of rejection, then hint to him that you like him or have a friend tell him you like him (but act like you dont know about it.) Or, if you sit next to him, talk to him and let him get to know him better. if your friendly and talk to him then you have a better chance. Good Luck!

there was this dude in my class who was exactly the same, just strike up a convO like "what did you get on the homework" or if he has badges or patches of bands you know about talk about them. If he dosen't respond or is a total jerk to you dont worry about it, jerks aren't worth stressing over (it makes you lose your hair)

Well, if i were you i will try to be like him. Ask your friend to get her/him to get things about the guy you lik. for example what is his favorite singer or color. So if he finds out that you guys has lots of things in common, he would most likly ask you out.

I am a guy myself, if you think hes interested start a rumor that you like him, but if your not sure try getting someone on the inside and have them casualy ask them like"do you like any perticular person" or " what do you think of(your name)?"

tella gossipy girl at school...tell as many people as you can that you like this guy. eventually he'll get word of it and hopefully find that he's interested. this almost always works because rumors spread so fast.
