(after coming home from the gym) for breakfast i had a bowl of Special K cereal (2% milk) and a banana. for lunch, i had left over spaghetti w/ tomato sauce. for a snack I had a Special K snack bar and water. and for dinner I had a Special K meal bar. I'm on the Special K diet, obviously. i dont think i drank enough water today.

Some of the purest water your body can enjoy is found in the servings of fresh fruits and vegetables you're missing out on each day.
Observe Weight Watchers: they have you eat a large variety of small-medium portions of food from different food groups daily; this is the means to finding ones balance with food.
Or, look at Rock and Roll: George Harrison sang, "...all the world's a birthday cake, take a piece but not too much."
Strive to eat an apple a day, and have a star.

I have heard alot about those Special K diets, and considered going on one myself. They do work, I will admit. The average person should have atleast 5 glasses of water per day so that you will not get dehydrated. Try drinking a few more glasses of water before you go to sleep. Drinking the water helps clear out the food that you have eaten, which helps in loosing weight. You've ate very good. I do recommend a small meal though (not a special k) before 9. Also, drink it with water. It's a good balenced meal that isn't fattening. Also, if you do want to loose weight, watch out for carbs over calories. Calories are bad but also watch out with the carbs.

depends on how much you currently weigh, how old you are (older you are the less you need after a certain point - i woulld say significantly less after you turn 30 and older from there), your gender (females need less), your lifestyle (active, sedentary, in between)
i'm going to assume you are in your early 20's, active, and female.
cereal with milk - 250 calories
banana - 100 calories
spaghetti - 400 calories
special k bar - 120 calories?
special k bar - 120 calories
990 calories total. rough estimate.
this is defintiely not enough. according to this calories needs calculator i found...if you weight 130 pounds and are female you need about 2002 calories a day.

I wonder if you eat like that, if you feel moody, tired, shaky, sick, emotional or just run down. You're living on cereal loaded with corn syrup, a high-sugar fruit, white-flour pasta and some artificially flavored "candy bars"? No vegetables, no complex carbs, not enough protein, sugars-- yuk.
I don't think you ate enough, and I don't know how you think you're going to feel or look good eating like that.

For the Special K meal plan, that's a perfectly good amount of food.
It all depends on the amount of spaghetti you had, though. =]

Use the Daily Calorie Needs Calculator. Based on your age, sex and activity level, it will calculate how many calories you burn per day and give you a good idea of how much to eat.
