Need some remedies to stop the itching and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the cause is. I heard nerves.

calamine lotion clear will help itching and take tendril that also help with the itching. It could be food allergies it could last from a few days to few months.

Use baby power and/or vaseline. Baby powder can calm it down. You could also put an ice pack over it. The ice can numb it a bit.

I would recommend trying Calamine lotion to see if that helps.
Hives can also occur because of allergic reactions to something.
