The earliest Islamic sources say that Muhammad inspired 75 terrorist raids - all for monetary gain - during the first ten years of the Islamic era. So to justify such behavior, the revisionists now errantly claim that he was defending Islam. Their argument, however, is in complete defiance of what the Hadith and Qur'anic eyewitness accounts reveal - and thus contradict the whole of the Islamic scriptures. If they are right and if Muhammad was a peaceful man, the Islamic scriptures cannot be trusted because they say the opposite.

Hadith is on no account scripture as you will discover from some quite colourful hadith right here. Muslims be conscious of that those variety of hadith that are derogotory to the Blessed character of Prophet Muhammad observed are at finished odds with the Holy Quran. Allah SWT and the Quran unearths Prophet observed as maximum finished and suited occasion yet those hadith written interior the courts of Bani Ummayah (Muawiya, Yazid, Marwan) are being written by potential of the enemies of the Prophet observed. Prophet (S.A.W.) ordered to drink milk and urine of cammels (Sahih Bokhari Punishment of Disbelievers at conflict with Allah and His Apostle quantity 8, e book 80 two, huge style 794) Prophet Mohamed became bare ( astaghfur Allah )Sahih Bokhari Prayers (Salat) quantity a million, e book 8, huge style 360

The Christian Holy Bible says:
Matthew 7: 15 - 18

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."

It sounds like history repeats itself...it may not be Mohammad inspiring terrorist raids, but many modern Muslims see that and justify their actions because of historical events.

It's really sad that people of the Muslim faith have not made an official declaration to the world about excommunicating or publicly denying the actions of terrorists groups as their Jihad.
The fact that terrorists have defined their actions as a holy war against the world, in turn defines the nature of their religion..."evil fruit, brought forth from a corrupt tree."

If the Muslim people are afraid to speak up...shouldn't that be a clue about the nature of their faith? What kind of God or religious organization would kill it's members for speaking up?

Should we trust the Christian scriptures, which depict a genocidal, megalomanic, psycho of a God (in places), or His followers?

On the whole, I think the latter. All Scripture (including the Muslim Scriptures) is open to interpretation, and has been interpreted in many ways over its history. Islam is the sum of its adherents: not what *you* decide it is on the basis of your uninformed reading of a translation of a centuries-old text.

You have initiated a very interesting topic. It would be really helpful if you go ahead, let us all know each situation. I shall try to answer that one by one.

Islam is whatever is in Qur'an and Hadith (traditions). But note that where-ever a tradition contradicts a verse of Qur'an, we will drop the tradition and take Qur'an because it is the exact word of God.

Trust yourself and you'll need nothing else, because the divine ('God') is within us all.
All scriptures were transcribed, at the least, if not written by humans, and as we were not present when they were put to 'paper' we cannot say they were not corrupted. We also cannot say they were corrupted.

neither of the two...why trust one and not the other as both are inter-related? TRUST ONLY IN JESUS...for he had died for you and me...and has ressurected to show us that death ha no sting on him..and also on those who believe in Him...He alone has the power to give life...not mohhammed who died long ago and still in the grave...why trust him when he cannot reesurect himself from death? God Bless

The islamic extremists, the Taliban, OBL, etc. say that they are the true followers of islam and I think they are right. Muhammad was the first terrorist. I don't trust islam.

May God bless you.

Islamic scriptures. Give me one verse in the Quran that says to kill innocents. No I am not talking about the verses that refer to battles. I mean people who have done nothing against islam ordered to be killed. But I guess this is pointless. You have your mind made up and the people who agree with you have their minds made up. Whatever....I tried.

Holy books are all false in the first place, so I prefer to believe none of them.

Their intention is to extinguish God's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). (Surah 61 Verse 8)
