Okay - Im assuming you must have both strawberries and chocolate lol, which you'll need. Two alternatives.....first - this way is long and slow but your sure to get a creamy rich chocolate Okay simply fill a pot with water - about 1/3 of the way and warm it up until its near boiling hot. While this is happening - place a bowl that sits on the ledge of the pot but doesnt fall in, over the top. While the water gets hot and steamy it will heat up the bottom of the bowl and slowly melt the chocolate and keep mixing it.
2 - you can just chop up some chocolate and melt it in the microwave with a teaspoon of butter or margarine and keep stiring it every 30-45 seconds until its smooth.
After the chocolate is melted simply wash and cut up your strawberries and serve fairly quickly as the chocolate will begin to solidify.

go to the store, buy stawberries, and buy a large hershey bar (or if they don't have large 6 oz. bars, buy 4 or 5 normal sized ones).
Melt the hershey bar(s) in a double boiler, or if you don't have one of those, get a large pot and boil some water, then in a smaller pot melt the chocolate over the boiling water. heat the chocolate JUST until it melts, but not too much hotter.
Dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate and lay them on waxed paper.
You still have plenty of time to get this all done, but hurry!

Do you have a sauce pot, not the real name but whatever, it would have a rounded bottom, and would be designed to fit in another pot. If you don't have one you could fill a larger pot with water and place a smaller pot inside it. Put whatever chocolate you want to melt in the smaller pot and melt it. Same plan for sauce pot, chocolate in sauce pot water in bigger pot.
Next dip strawberries in the melted chocolate, put them on a pan and into the refrigerator to harden it. The freezer might do it quicker, but I've never tried it.
