It smells like somebody just died or somebody forgot a pair of old worned old sneakers or moldy socks?
how can you people handle the stench?

Some churches (I know for a fact the Roman Catholic one we attended while I was younger) use incense. To me, it smells like Nag Champa. (which is another type of incense)
Some churches use cushioned seats in their pews that aren't often deep-cleaned, and THAT might be part of the problem, also. Of course, I've only been in a few churches that DID, as most of the Roman Catholic ones use plain wooden pews.

Our church serves and smells like Starbucks. Strange church's you've been to. Try another. I've been to quite a few and have never smelled any of those smells.

I'm not sure what church you've been going to or who you've been sitting beside. That's unfortunate that the smell bothers you!
Maybe you are going to an old church, or possibly it is full of older people using medicines that are unpleasant. I would suggest trying a different church.

I have attended many different churches over the years and none of them smelled "funky".
Maybe your possessed by a demon, who causes you to "think" the churches smell that way; so you will stay away from them.

When you cram a lot of people into a small enclosed space its bound to smell a little funky.

Very true! Infact, I find the elementary school cafeterias have a more pleasant aroma....and that's saying something.

I don't know what churches you are going to! I've never smelled anything bad!............Strange that you can smell something.

well like any smell you get used to it. Plus sometimes there are dead people in church, maybe thats were it comes from

I have no idea, that is the same with me, i go into a bunch of my friends' churches and they smell like weird stuff....i'm scared...and idk how they handle it cuz i was about to vomit XP
