Come on down from "Heaven", perform some obvious miracles that cannot be explained scientifically, (like stopping all wars, famine, injustice and intolerance), and that should just about cover it for me. Oh, and provide an in-depth explanation of what he really meant when he "wrote the Bible" - you know, clear up some stuff like why bats are birds and why giants and talking snakes no longer exist.

A personal religious experience.
I do not "reject" a God, I am searching for the truth whereever I find it. Right now I have to assume that a God does not exist. I have to. It is my duty as a citizen of humanity to be rational and fully functional. I simply cannot risk believing in a 2000 year old tome that makes no specific references to the future as undeniable truth. If I do this, I could risk becoming more of a lunatic than I ever was before. I must have something to go along with it, so I can find the truth in it.
I really hope this God gives me a sign because my faith in his creatures is dwindling. :(

Proof of existence is not enough
Explanation for the atrocities of the Bible as well as why this loving being sits back and watches the evils of the world would be needed.
I will not bow down to some entity that simply shows it has a greater knowledge of technology and nature.
People should need reason to worship and not be mindless sheep

It would be absurdly easy... if there was a God. Ever see those George Burns god movies, or Bruce Almighty? God could easily go on Tv and the internet and radio all at once, throw around some cool miracle action and we'd all beleiev. But he doesn't, because he does not exist.

Evidence.
If there were a god, it would have to come down here personally and form that relationship with me. It's not such a personal relationship if you've never met the dude, and it's through a pastor and delivered to a group at once, you know?

The universe is complex and probably required a Creator. But which one? It seems that all cultures throughout human history have recognized the role of a Creator God.
The Creator defined by the North American Native Americans only asked that humans live in harmony with all nature. In exchange, the Creator provided plants and animals for humans to use as food, clothing, shelter, and medicine. Early Native Americans showed their respect and appreciation to the Creator by making small offerings of tobacco.
The Creator God defined by Hebrew scholars, 6000 years ago in the Middle East, was a jealous, and often cruel God. He demanded that humans make sacrifices of animal blood in order to appease Him, and set out Old Testament laws of behavior that often required the stoning-to-death of your neighbor for sins as minor as eating shell fish or working on the Sabbath. These laws remained in effect for over 4000 years until Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire and commissioned the first Bible from a collection of Hebrew scrolls and stories of Jesus. Religious scholars of today claim that the Old Testament God decided to change his original requirements for animal sacrifice and for stoning-your-neighbor-to-death for disobeying His written laws. This God, rather than having his human scribes re-write the laws on new scrolls, he decided to have His only Son sent to earth to be tortured and murdered.
I believe there is a Creator God. I just believe that his personality is more like the compassionate Creator God of the early Native Americans. If He turns out to be the cruel Middle Eastern God, and He throws me in Hell for thinking He is more loving than He really is, then I’m willing to accept with that fate.

Logically no proof or "signs" exist because there's no logic in the existence of an omnipotent creator being.

a giant thumb comes down from the sky and stops all muslims, who do do such things mind you not all of them do, from strapping bombs to themselves and killing innocent people.
P.S. the thumb must be attached to a giant hand with all of the other four fingers attached, that is attached to a giant arm reaching from the sky. that and only that will make me believe.

Like "Brilliant!" said before.
"For the christian god it would take God coming down, introducing himself to me, autographing a copy of the Bible and picking up a clump of dirt and proceeding to make people out of it. " -Brilliant!
(I hope he doesn't mind me quoting him, but it the funniest answer to this question, I've ever heard.)
I even saved it to my watch list.
