I recently saw on the history channel, a story about the bible code. Have you heard of this, and what do you think about it? I am saved, and I am a sceptic on most things that are not in the bible. The bible code seems, well doesn't seem to, it does predict things that has happened. I do not know how to take this, because the bible warns about adding anything to the bible. But it isn't really adding, well I don't know, what do you think if you know what I am talking about. This is for christians and not atheist. Unless you want to be serious.

Thanks for the answer. I will leave this one alone. When I was watching this, I was thinking, how clever and decieving the devil was. The only truth is the word of God.

Yeah well I've see programs on the Bible code as well. I've also seen where the skeptics use other books to get the same kind of hidden messages so I don't make much of it.

I am not sure what the Bible code is all about but the Bible warns against false teachings. The Bible is sufficient for us do not look to things that do not line up with the Word of God, have nothing to do with them.

I'm sure there are things in the bible that has happened.
But that is man following the paths OF the people in the bible, we're not suposed to do what they did.

I've heared a lot of things about the bible.
Most of it stems from the fictional novel
Davinci Code.

The Bible is God's Word and I would not pay attention to the so called Bible code because it is nonsense.

Stay away from the Bible codes and stick with the Bible. The Holy Spirit will do the decoding for you if you have any problems, just ask Him

From my perspective..... There is a lot of other things about life on earth and in heaven that's not in the Bible, and if I decide to bring it up, I am not adding to the Bible, it basically my perspective. I believe and know that the Bible is true, but there is more than what's in the Bible.
God's capacity of Wisdom WON'T fit in the Bible.

I am a strong Christian and I believe the bible code to be not true. You can take any book and do the same thing with it.

It won't tell you anything actually reading it wouldn't tell you. You won't even know if the "code" is right until AFTER it happens anyway where as the bible itself tells you BEFORE. Just read it in my opinion.
