Sure. People inbred and domesticated wolves to create dogs in the first place. You can change them back. There was no evolution involved with this. Just man playing God and then some adaptation. Genetically dogs and wolves are the same. There are no tests that can tell them apart.
May God Bless you.

Of course! If feral children are brought up by dogs, they behave like dogs.
The same is in any animal species. All have natural instincts and tendencies, but we have seen, in humans at least, these can be removed quite easily.
Let's look at the reproductive nature of humans as an example.
We have the strongest urges to procreate, and once we have kids we protect them with our lives.
How, then, is it that muslims can strap bombs on their kids and send them out to die?
It's a form of conditioning which changes or removes the natural primitive urges of humans, likewise any other animal can be swayed from its natural instincts into behaving in a different manner by the way it is brought up.
We have seen that animals such as tigers in the wild are dangerous and will attack humans, but tigers brought up domestically will tend to favour humans generally - but this is not guaranteed. Pit Bulls are the same.
So, it is fair to say that the majority of social characteristics of an animal can be influenced in the short term but the deep, core instincts may take several generations to change.

no they wont, because they've had centuries of domestics bred into them, their parents wont teach them as wolves, and technically domestic dogs and lupinus caninus are entirely different species nowadays, the closest relative probably being the husky (love those lil things ^^)
either way, instinct would probably be there, as all animals will have, but its the parents that awaken that instinct.
its a shame that they are being hunted to extinction.. wolves are a beautiful, and understoof species.. and definatley my favourite animal.

If you believe that you are descendant from apes, do you behave like an ape? I know some people do, but that is simply an inherently positive subconscious reaction.

If you beat the puppy long enough I am sure he will turn on you too. But...dogs all have common ancestery. They are all canine, the same kind.
Dogs are dogs....they don't have a soul and can't make life or death (spiritual) choices....so this question is really ludicrous.

If you could get that point across to them, you'd be the most brilliant dog trainer in the history of the world.

If you `catch` them early enough, they will believe anything. After all, they are young, they rely on you, they are gullible, and you know it all.... Go for it, indoctrinate the poor sods, before they wise up.
