Blood in the stool can be a sign of a lot of bad things including cancer. Have you ever had a colonoscopy? I would go get one if you haven't. I'm not trying to scare you but if you're over 45, then you should get one anyway.

Sounds like you might have two unrelated problems: coccydynia, and hemorrhoids (if the blood is red). The causes of coccydynia is often unknown if it isn't associated with some obvious physical abnormality. If you have dark purple or black blood in the stool, this indicates bleeding higher in the digestive system, which is something more serious than hemorrhoids.

Blood in the stool is not good.
You need to go to your doctor and get your colon checked out. You also need to see if you have hemorroids or a cyst on your coccyx bone (its also called the tailbone).

Blood in your stool is not normal. You didn't mention if you've been to a doctor, but I suggest you see one ASAP.
