I think all Mormons would completely agree with your statement, that we are all sinners and only Jesus Christ can save us from our sins. Christ is at the foundation of their faith and he is their Redeemer.
For some reason people always think Mormons think they're perfect, or expect them to be, but that isn't the case. No man was, is, or ever will be perfect save Jesus Christ.

Can I just add a point that this is a very good and valid question especially in regards to the comments by KKingS
THe Mormon church does not believe in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, their early prophets openly preached the law of blood atonement and even said that the sinners throat was to be cut from ear to ear and his blood spilt onto the ground. John D Lee and all those early mormons carried out a lot of blood atonements and that was the main excuse for the massacre at Mountain Meadows. Mormons are not christians, if so they would follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ not those of a false prophet such as Joseph SMith . Brigham Young Et Al

I am a sinner. I try my best to follow all of the commandments in the Word of God. Without my Savior Jesus Christ I am nothing, I am saved through His atonement.
John 3:16-17 For God so the world that He gave his Only Begotten Son...
The name of the 'Mormon' church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Without Jesus I don't have a religion.

"All have sinned and come short of God." That includes Mormons because we're human too. Repentance is a key issue and a strong requirement to practice so we can keep going, striving toward perfection in a life that will not allow it.
Miranda, be of good cheer. "Mormon" means more good. It's a nickname thrown on us at first in derision, but one that is accepted to denote members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's when the anti-Mormon crowds remove the second M that gets me irked.

Yep. I'm a sinner. We all are. Just because I'm "mormon" ( I hate that nick name by the way!) doesn't mean I'm free of sin. The only way to be forgiven of my sins is through Christ and what He did for me.

Of course! We know no one is perfect and we do not claim to be...though we are striving for perfection (which we know will not happen in this lifetime).
Because I have been baptized, and other important ordinances and covenants I have made, I know I am elligible for salvation and eternal life with my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and my family for eternity in the Celestial Kingdom.
We know the only way back to God is through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
2 Nephi 25:6
26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

I am LDS (or Mormon) and, of course, I couldn't agree with you more. We are all sinners, and all need Jesus Christ for salvation.

What do the details have to do with the question?
Mormons are Christians.
They believe in sin, therefore, believe that they commit sins.
They also ask forgiveness for those sins.
