this is going to sound stuipd but im 14 and theres a really cute youth worker from my youth club we get on great we chat all the time and i even speak to him other the internet we are good mates but i want to be more i've liked him for sometime now and don't no what to say or do if i do tell him i may look stuipd or if he likes me then he could get fired what can i do i have a realy big crush on him but i can't help it i think about him all the time i wait for him to come online and we don't stop talking i just can't think of anything else

there may be a ten year age diffrence but if you didnt no i was 14 what would you say.

should i tell him how i feel..
make a move..
or just let it pass as a crush...

would he still get sent to jail for jsut going out with me no having sex or anything.?

He would go to jail in Florida if you said he touched you on your body anywhere sexual. Or if someone could prove you did anything sexual. Proof would be a pregnancy with his DNA in the baby or someone witnessing a sexual act and reporting it.
It depends on the laws of the state you are in. These laws protect young girls from predators who would take advantage of underage girls. Young girls like yourself are vulnerable to older men because you don't understand the consequences of being in love with a much older man. In a year or so he will not look so great because you will be more mature then.
Men that have underage girlfriends can't fool older girls into dating them so they go after the only girls they can get.

If you make a move you're putting him at risk to get arrested. His idea of a relationship is going to be different than your idea of a relationship. You might have "holding hands at the mall and puppy shopping" on your mind, but he's a grown man with completely different needs and interests. You need to meet someone your own age who you can progress with in a relationship rather than someone who is far, far more advanced in life than you. 10 years is not a big deal if you were 30 and he were 40, but at your age, it's a HUGE deal and you're only going to be dissapointed and get yourself and him into a world of trouble. Move on.

Listen kid, I know from experience, a guy wouldn't be caught ten dating a girl ten years younger than you. Imagine if a four year old walked up and told you that he was in love with you.
