Yes they do. Call them:

And believe me, dental schools have the BEST care. Not only are they constantly supervised, but they are trying to get the best grades. Really the best work you can get.

Donna,

I agree with bmac and Dr. Albert completely. Students are well-supervised and prices are well below 'market value.' Tufts is a great place to get care.

You might also consider community health centers, which are non-profit community-based organizations which "offer comprehensive primary and preventive health care, including medical, dental, social and mental health services to anyone in need regardless of their medical status, ability to pay, culture or ethnicity," according to the website.

Here is a listing of the Boston area centers, by neighborhood:

I would personally be a little scared but they sound like they are on the up and up. I have had a student cut my hair and even a student give me a tattoo....but never a.....you know what...I guess I have really had about every kind of student so why not....If I let a student give me an epidural while I was in labor (which failed miserably and was horribly painful and a long drawn out process) then I guess I would consider letting them work on my teeth.
Good luck!!

DONNA,
BMAC IS COMPLETELY CORRECT IN THEIR ANSWER. A DENTAL SCHOOL HAS REASONABLE CHARGES FOR THE DENTAL WORK. THIS WORK WOULD BE FIRST RATE.GIVE TUFTS A CALL AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. GOOD LUCK. ;-)

Yes they do, you are used to help teach future Dentist, just like an intern workks in an ER. It is an excellent program a good freind of mine is a graduate and she used quite a lot of us as volunteers to help her and other students, you get a very good discount or free depending on what your need is.
