It's not on everbody all the time but certain people at certain times. May be I really don't want to know. But it really bugs me or is it a gift that I'm supposed to know about.

It could be good. It could be bad.
It takes some discernment to figure out if this is coming from the Holy Spirit, or the evil one...
We'll take it along the theory of Holy Spirit.
Discernment is a gift from God.
When you get this gift, you don't automatically know what it's for or how to deal with it.
You have to decide to either reject the gift or embrace it. If you embrace it, then the work begins.
Be very wary of the sort of "new age" explaining of auras and the like. If you can, find a spiritual director who understands such things.

Since the aura is the electromagnetic field around a person generated by the electrical impulses of the nervous system, I'd say your seeing it means your eyes are sensitive to certain light wavelengths. It is possible your capable of seeing it when the person is either highly upset or nervous since the nerves are more active at those times and the field would be stronger.

The aura is an emanation of the divine spark. It comes in different colors based on the purity of the individual possessing it. It is a product of the mind, and can be witnessed through body language, eye contact, facial expressions, or intonation.
It is not as important as the true light of the mind. But as for the aura, it is part of the infinite possibilities of the mind.

you may be very sensitive to different attitudes / goals of the people whose aura your able to see.
to develop your gift, as you feel comfortable, start a conversation with the person & see where it goes.
spend time in meditation regarding the colors & shapes you see and what they mean to you.
may your gift bring knowledge and freedom.

It is aura, I can see them but I stay away, I follow God , the
various colors of a aura can tell you a persons personality and mood.Some call it a gift,I do not.
