Someone said someone died on the cross for my sins but didn't elaborate. I have a cross but I don't know what it's for, only that it's a Christian emblem. I also have a pentacle, and I know that's a Wiccan emblem. Did someone die on the pentacle or is this completely separate? How can someone die for my sins? That doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe it was a typo?

I've been reading some of the link provided but I get much more direct answers here and the software I use sometimes has problems with those other sites. I can not read or write but I have a computer and software that translates for me. I'm picking up some words but not as quickly as I had hoped. Please read my profile. I spent a lot of time creating it so that I could hopefully explain my situation. I know it seems incredible. Imagine being me!

The pentacle is a five-pointed star with in a circle. Each point represents an element: earth, air, fire, water. The fifth point at the top represents the element of spirit. The lines connecting the all points in the shape of a star represents the understanding that all these elements are connected. The circle represents the unity, balance and strength of these elements.

As far as I know, no one died on this Wiccan symbol. However, there were Pagan saviors who died for thier people before Jesus' time.

No one ever died on a pentacle. It's a pagan symbol of the five elements: earth, fire, water, air, and spirit. The circle around the star means to contain and balance the five energies.

The cross is a Christian emblem. I'll let them explain that to you, since I don't care for that religion I don't think I could represent it in a fair light ;-)

The pentagram has nothing to do with Christianity. That is a Pagan symbol. Jesus is Gods son. God sent him to earth to save humanity because the earth was so corrupt we needed help. He died on the cross for all of our sins. and if we will follow his example we will be saved and he will help us through all problems we face. My suggestion is to study the bible in the new testament to find out how Jesus lived and how he died for our sins. and if you read the old testament you will also find Gods laws all make since

Because of actions and sins of Adam and Eve we were all born into a world of sin. God wants a race of people to obey Him. God cannot tolerate sin. The only way He can have a race of people and look with favor on these people is to have a way for them to be forgiven of their sins. So God sent His Son to live as a human so He could have an understanding of how humans react to temptations. Then died a human death on the cross so we could be with Him forever in the kingdom of heaven.
We will all stand in judgment on that "great day of God almighty".

jesus is part of the holy trinity, god sent forth his son(still divine) and was sacraficed on the cross for the sins of the world- including your sins. this sacrafice was the ultimate sacrafice for all humanity. the concept of the trintiy and christianity is hard even for someone who is not ill, this is the basics of it,as you grow better you can grasp it better. sorry to hear of your condition.

I suggest you go to a nondenominational church and ask someone to explain it to you. It's not difficult to understand but would take up a great deal of space. A pastor or minister will be able to explain it clearly.

Or, since your having trouble, perhaps you could call a local church and ask them to come visit you. Where in Texas are you? That will give me an idea of what churches might be in your area.

why did Jesus die for you? because God loves you so much that he sent his only Son, Jesus, as the perfect lamb to be the sacrifice that would take away the sins of the world.... Look for a New Living Translation bible and check out what the new testament says.... it is awesome what God has done for us!

The cross is another roman death symbol. Romans killed many people on the cross. It is like the electric chair.

Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God was crucified for your and my sins. He was hung on a "tree" or a "cross" brutally murdered for the sins of the world to be resurrected from the dead to live again for us. He is Our Lord and Savior. He loves and wants you to receive His salvation TODAY.

... to live is Christ, to die is gain ...

There is life through Jesus here and after. Believe and you should live.

God Bless you.
