www.pokerstars.com is a favorite of mine. Just go to cashier and deposit money via epassporte or a major credit card. You can also play with play chips for practice.

Let the curious beware seeking online poker sites: many are savvy copies, run by identity theives. Others may simply be a savvy trap to siphon $$$$ from your card and into their bank account(s).
Do any legit poker sites exist? Why certainly....just measure a good deal of common sense---and disciplined control when finding/playing them. Don't allow them to play YOU.

I play PokerStars. However, I hear it's tough to deposit (my money on the site predates the Neteller pullout). Not sure what the best way is.
My friend play Full Tilt and like the layout. Both are pretty solid sites where your money is safe.
