Does anyone know if there is a Mennonite church near Brigham Young University in Utah?
I am searching for a church to join that isn't affiliated with the University because I'm not Mormon, and I'm not going to convert just because I'm one of 1000 students on the 35000 student campus who isn't LDS.
When my father attended the University in the 70s, he knew several Mennonites in nearby Spanish Fork. I'm very interested in joining their congregation, but am unable to find any kind of adress or other hint that the church is still there.
Anyone Menno living in Utah? Do you know if there's a Mennonite church anywhere near BYU? I'm willing travel far in order to keep my faith.

I looked at a Mennonite church finder website and didn't see any in Utah. You may try a fundamentalist baptist church, as the beliefs would be similar and you still have some of the anabaptist tradition. Best wishes & prayers. You'll need them in Utah. not that i know of but you could google "utah mennonite churches" and see what comes up if you cant find one i would recommend a covenant church, which is what i go to and the women cover their heads and wear dresses/skirts at mine, but i dont know if all covenant churches do. well i hope this helped a little.

I was checking out the BYU web site and they apparently have clubs for non-members, like the Newman center for Catholics and there is, I think, a Baptist club that might work for you.
