No. The principle is that by drinking the water you are partially filling you stomach with the hope that when you have eaten enough & your stomach is full you will stop eating. If this happens then you will loose weight. But you must also exercise to loose weight otherwise you body "changes gear" , coming out on lower caloric use per day. Should your fat level be significant you will also need lecithin to emulsify the fat so it is readily available to use during exercise.

Absolutely. Water will make your stomach not feel as hungry when you eat and plenty of water keeps your system flushed. All models drink about 10 8 oz glasses of water a day!

Arguably drinking a glass of water before you eat fills you up. But why not try drinking JUST water for a day, say, once every 2 weeks.?

No you can drink a glass of water but if you really want to lose weight just set your eating standards and your goal and walk because really its just in your mind so you do what makes you feel good and please dont try to starve yourself just take about thirty min of your spare time and do a small portion of exercises and dont try to over do it.

yes, if you stop eating when you feel full or eat very slowly.

the theory behind it is simply this:

water and liquids take up space and do make you feel full. many people quench what they think is hunger with food, when in reality it is thirst.

the act of drinking a whole glass of water takes up room and thus if you don't try to scarf down everything on your plate and eat slowly and/or stop a bit BEFORE you feel full then it can in fact help you lose weight.

stopping before you feel full is because it takes time for the message to reach your brain that you are in fact full. thus either stop short of bieng full, or eat very slowly so your body has time to send and react to the signal.

drinking 7-8 glasses of water everyday is healthy, but dont drink 30 minutes before and after and during eating.

Well, I'm not sure about this theory. All I know is that water fills you up and the more you drink the less hungry you are.

It's a healthy practice but it isn't going to make you loose weight. Diet and exercise will. Good luck.

sure. It takes up space in your stomach, so you eat less. It doesn't help you if you snack between meals, though. I've read another one where you eat an apple before each meal.
