Are we going to war with Iran? I know it is the British problem.. but I know we help everyone else out, and plus the hostage situation

Britain has asked the U.S. to hang back. They'd like to handle this on their own. I don't want to see us going in with guns blazing unless the British take the lead, go in with military force themselves and ask us for assistance.

HELLO! We are at war, right now, in the Middle East. We are not, as yet engaged with Iran, but there is a lot of tough talk flying about. The "Hostages" will not, in and of themselves bring about a war. That will most likely be negotiated. It is rather interesting that Iran has taken so strong a stand against what would seem to be impossible odds.

What hostage situation? They were on Iraqi territori. They are not hostages ut prisoners. Believe it or not there is a difference. One involves a violation committed by the captve or an action on his/ her part and one is a crime involving nothing but being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I guess we coulod call People in our justice sstem for being here illegally hostages as well.

Always pick your words carefully. Words have meaning. All that said; yes, we are probably going to war with Iraq. Why? Becasue Bush is an idiopt who likes to pick fights on a regular basis for little to n reason with other countries. I pray each day that he doesn't get us ****** off.

Iran has been at war with us for years already. They just don't have the means to take us out yet. We are trying to solve the problem any other way than bombing the hell out of them. Unlike what you hear some on here say. But if we do have to I hope this time we crush their government and the terrorists so well that they lose their will to fight.

The nut-case-in-charge of Iran is who is going to determine whether or not his country is turned into a cinder. If the British start bombing Iran, you can bet America will be right behind supporting them. Look, nobody in their right mind is FOR war. I don't think so. Iraq is already a mess and waging war with Iran would mean overexertion of our limited resources. The war also is becoming unpopular to some groups and starting another one would be bad in domestic politics.

That will probably depend on Iran.

I don't see how we could invade another country, tho, cause our forces are tied up in the mess called Iraq.

And Russia seems to be Iran's big brother, so that could turn out to be WW3. They provide Iran with their military just like we provide Israel with theirs.
