Haha...this is a good question, I will do my best to throw some ideas out there.
1.Guilt trips- "well if you don't...." "I can do it better" etc.
2.Silent Treatment- They like to "not" talk to you, to see if you'll call them or whatever, and they like to see how long it will take you.
3.Checking Out other Females- They like to do this, just to see if you are a "crazy" jealous female, or if you can handle yourself...and show that you are self confident etc.
4-With-hold Sex- Yep...men do it too...and it can work on some women.
5-Talk about other females 2 u- Oh boy, this one is right...guys will bring up other females almost for the same purpose as looking at them (Whether it's a celebrity like Pam Anderson or just some girl). To see if you get jealous, which if you do they for some odd reason assume you're "crazy" or "obsessive".?
6-They will also, hang out with other girls..also...sometimes to make you mad or to see if you get mad.
*And when girls do get mad over that stuff I just mentioned above, I know some guys who will joke about it with their buddies and be like "Dude this chick is crazy, she got all jealous b/c I looked at some girl." *
~I've heard my b/f and his buddies talking about stuff like that.

This question should be both ways.
What are the mind games that women play on men?
Most men want two basic things from women. They want SEX! They want them to have their BABIES!!! If you remember this and that most men will do almost anything to get both with as many women as they can then you will understand that it is not mind games.
I can already hear the protests from both men and women!!!
Women want someone to look after them and the children that they produce. They too will use anything to get what they want. Including SEX!!
These are basic drives everything and every dance and permutation that we as humans can put on this is just variations on a theme. We may think that these are not our basic drives. Try looking at the motivation behind what is happening. Most Social anthropologists and psychologists will tell you that this is the basic human drive.

Yes, there are some men playing mind games on the web just to make fun of women and I know a very good one at it
My opinion is that such men are suffering from an inferiority complex and it is a way for them to assert their male superiority over women, not having to confront them face to face.Too easy for them to hide their poor personality using the web. A despiteful behaviour in my opinion and not interesting characters to deal with. Let's them cowards stick under cover, and we, women avoid having anything to do with them. There are true men deserving to be trusted awaiting us in the daylight.

We don't play mind games. We are too simple of creatures, that's why most guys are rather direct. The best that would be said is that we do counter moves. We try to decipher the mind games that women play and act accordingly.

i read one answer and i do not agree with his answer....some women really believe the lines some guys tell.........like i love you and you are so special....and buying you things and sort of buttering you up until they get what they want...i do not know how to really say it but men can play mind games and i guess some women do to.....

Anything they say that makes you feel good up until they fu ck you is usually a lie.
I once had a guy tell me he loved me, then we fornicated and he called me a "slu t". I thought it was just dirty talk until I woke up the next morning and found pictures of me naked and passed out on myspace.
