I didn't understand the last question. But getting over a broken heart will take some time so no you don't get over it immediately and forget about it. But you will get over it. Life will go on..and their will be other opportunities to fall in love

If you know how many times I got dumped or dumped on, you would laugh. You have to go on with your life. Don't look back.
That does not change anything to dwell on the past. It's not how you got where you are, it is now where are you going.
You will learn from every relationship. Count on that. It is not the end of the road but the journey you will remember most.
Treasure every moment. They are presents

Well, you should probably start getting over it,but at the same time, try to solve what made her break up with you so you can avoid the mistake with the next relationship.

Totally depends on the situation. Half a year is not much so I probably wouldn't let bother me for more than a few hours.

Neither. If the relationship is over, I would move on. I dont think it would be possible for me to just immediatly forget about it. Thats pretty childish.

Some people actually have to have time to grieve over a lost relationship. Obviousy you are one of them. Take your time and try to occupy yourself with other things.
