This is most likely a very stupid question, but it would be awesome if this was really true. I'm wondering if they make pillows for people with piercings in their ears because I got my industrial done about three months ago, and I still can't sleep on the side it was done, not so much because of pain, but becuase it's not good to put all that pressure on it. Also, I swear I've heard that these types of pillows exist. Sorry if this is really stupid, but I just want to know. Thanks!

i found a pillow that worked great! it is small but i love it. it is a travel pillow that is shaped like a C and your ear will fit right in the hole for your neck. it is perfect. mine is memory foam on one side and micro beads on the other side so you can chose to have a firmer or cushier pillow. i got it at walmart for like $5.

It's not a stupid question at all. (A brief historical aside - Japanese geisha used to use special pillows to hold their head up so they wouldn't have to sleep on their hair, becuase getting their hair done was painful, expensive, and time consuming. They'd have it done once a week or so, and leave it up the whole time in between).

I don't know of anyone who makes a special pillow for piercings - maybe you could set up a business to exploit this gap in the market! - but there are all sorts of different travel pillows etc available that you could try out as options - or why not just buy a cheap pillow and chop a hole in it?

(Not a feather pillow, obviously. That might not be such a good idea!)

maybe a silly answer, but here I go....go to the drug store and get a "hemorrhoid" pillow, or a "dough nut" is what they call them. It is a small inflatable ring that looks like a dough nut, inflate it to your desired firmness and place inside your pillowcase. it will alleviate the pressure and you might get some good sleep.
