I haven't used webcam before, so i am not sure. Thanks.

Webcam doesn't have the focus or the resolution to be a document scanner. Most webcam max out at 1024x768, and that's at 3 ft distance. It can't do 300 dpi per inch.

i can see any info that says you can. but why not use it to take pictures of the documents and then cut them out of the big image using graphics editing proigram.

As long as it can take still pictures, you just need the right software.
