According to the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 the federal law allows certain foreign-born, biological and adopted children of United States citizens to acquire U.S. citizenship automatically.
The child must have at least one U.S. citizen parent by birth or naturalization, be under 18 years of age, live in the legal and physical custody of the U.S. citizen parent, and be admitted as an immigrant for lawful permanent residence.

If you met the above requirements there will be no need for you to do an application or a fee. The effective date of the Child Citizenship Act was February 27, 2001. Children who met these requirements on that date automatically became American citizens. There is no need for you to get a certificate but if you wished to have one, in the first link provided to you, it gives you instructions on how to get the certificate.

Like R C rightly said, your parents should have included you in their application when they applied for citizenship. Now you have to apply for it or your parents can do that for you as they citizens already. shouldn't be a problem.

If your parents became citizens when you were under 18 and they did not petition yours at that time, guess what bud, you SOL and have to go through the whole process as everybody else. Good luck and see ya in the front lines.

If your parents became US citizens when you were under 18, that would also make you a US citizen automatically. Check the website: www.uscis.gov
