heard that if you joined the military, there's desert storm as part of the trainng. what do you do doing Desert Storm?

Operation DESERT STORM was the liberation of Kuwait back in 1991.

The only way it becomes part of current training is the study of the progress of the battle. That would be a map study, not a field exercise.

Wrong name, right idea. There is a desert warfare training scenario for any troops bound for the mideast it lasts appx one month and incorporates civlian role playes of middle eastern descent to play locals,i.e. farmers, working class people, insurgents, whatever that days training cycle requires.
