yes, these actions are what lead young people to be confused. I always argued with my friends and family... It is not like I was going to be behaving badly, was my argument. Reminded by some around me. People judge us by what we do, our own walk, so even if we are not there to drink, hump or degrade ourselves, we are still sending the wrong message by being in a place like that, In no way is a "club" uplifting or glorifying the Lord. It is wrong for us to be there. They put sinful thoughts and desires into the back of our mind... The whole WWJD, that is what I use to guide me when I have questions like this, If my grandparents were here, If my preacher was here, If Jesus was here... would I be ashamed or embarrassed of what I am doing or where I was at?

It probably isn't a good thing to do. Christ told us to set ourselves apart from the world. Getting drunk on alcohol is committing a sinful thing - we are told not to get 'drunk with wine'. Also, clubbing probably doesn't reflect on your witness as a Christian. Think for a moment of what a secular athiest might expect a Christian to do. People scorn us all the time for not adhereing strictly to Christ's commandments, and although we are sinful people and unable to measure up to God's standards, we can to the best we can to make sure that we give a good witness. If you really want to live for God, I'd say not to go. Perhaps reading through Corinthians to see what God wants for us to be. Find your answers there.

Read 1 Cor.10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
The ONLY Way in which it would be okay is if you can picture the second member of The Godhead coming out of a bar, the body you call yours is the temple of God also in
1 Cor. 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You know where you wanna go for help? The Bible. Look at God's word. There isn't anything in there against going out a club with your friends. There are rules against drinking and rules against sex (so you may not want to do any "dirty dancing"), but there isn't anything that says you can't go hang out with some Christian friends, dance, have a soda and listen to music.

evidently their faith is more advantageous of an interest/social adventure to them than construction a closer courting with G*d. a lot too undemanding lately and extremely unhappy. imagine of it as a blessing nonetheless. Do you extremely prefer to spend time with those who ought to placed their own glorification earlier G*d? they're telling you precisely who they're and what they stand for. Like what you spot? there are such extremely some strong christians accessible the position a at the same time as and capacity will be more advantageous perfect spent. would G*d bless and keep you and produce you peace.

You can set an example by not drinking or smoking or taking home people to do "things" with.
When I was in high school, there was a preacher's son who went to parties but set an example by not drinking, doing drugs, etc...
It's all how you view this issue though. I personally don't see anything wrong with going to a club, dancing, & having fun....just make wise choices! :D

What is clubbing other than going to an establishment to listen to music and dance. I don't even think it's a sin to have a couple drinks there to as long as your of age and not over-indulging or driving afterward. I am a devout christian and see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Go and enjoy yourself friend.

Maybe its just so you could dance.
A lot of girls I realize like everything but the booze, naked girls, smoke, drugs...
Maybe if you have friends to go to clubs with you should borrow a place to emulate a similiar atmosphere (without all that nonsense.
I'm sure many non-christians would like that too. Maybe this could be your calling!

" okay, so, you can go clubbing, if:
you dont participate in underage drinking,
you dont engage in sexual activity,
you dont do drugs,
and you do what you know is right."
So what is the point of going clubbing then? You only have one life, enjoy it. Most of the people in the clubs are Christians, probably not from the same narrow sect as you, though. If your sect is too restrictive, join a less restrictive one.

A lot of Christians have accepted Jesus as their savior, but do not live according to what the Bible says. If they are really trying to live for Him then they will learn soon.
