Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the bible to teach the so-called "rapture" idea. Witnesses believe the bible to teach that only a very limited number (even among true worshippers) have a heavenly hope, while the rest of faithful humankind will live forever in perfect bodies on a restored paradise earth.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that as each "anointed" Christian dies, he is immediately resurrected to heaven. But Witnesses also believe that some "anointed" ones will be on earth immediately before (and possibly through) Armageddon. God's exact divine mechanism for bringing these remaining few "anointed" ones to heaven is not discussed in the bible.

I just love how many people here just avoid the question. The question is HYPOTHETICAL folks! We already know that you dont believe that it could happen. But do you think that just maybe, you could open your mind a bit and give an HONEST answer to a hypothetical question? Now as to the answer; I can tell you what the BIBLE says what will happen to them. After the Rapture; "and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they DID NOT receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For THIS REASON God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they WILL believe what is false." 2nd Thess 2:10-11 NASB (CAPS ADDED). So you either accept the truth now, or be deceived later. I believe that there is a real possibility that those who hear the Gospel now and reject it, will in fact, not be a part of the multitudes that come to Christ in the Great Tribulation. Thats what these verses, (at first glance anyway) seems to be teaching......theBerean

Now that's kinda funny. As I understand it, the idea of the rapture is the "good" people get pulled to heaven and the rest get left behind. So assuming the rapture does ever happen, I would imagine it would mean that we were wrong. I think another question would be, while waiting for the rapture, you find out the Witnesses are in fact correct, what will you say?

I was going to write exactly what Buzz did. PS to Ishvarlan...the rapture is when all of the people who have called on the belief in Jesus name that he became man and died for our sins, will be lifted into eternal salvation with him.....

Since Armageddon would have taken place and all those who thought man can rule himself have been wiped from the Earth, it will be "Let's get to work!! We need clothing for the millions being resurrected, food needs to be gathered and distributed, crops need to be planted, and we need to beginning tearing down the pyramids and all other remnants of the old system of man. We have only one thousand years to rebuild God's Creation back into a paradise. After that, we have all those other planets in Jehovah's creation to explore and terraform."

Not to worry...not going to happen, but..
They are happy to stay on the earth and live forever upon. 99% of Jehovah's Witnesses have no desire to go to heaven.

Jehovah's Witnesses already believe we are in the Millenium, and I don't think they believe in the Rapture either. There will probably be some secular world report touting aliens, and they'll probably go right along with it.

Maybe they will look around at all the Baptists and Pentecostals and Creationists standing next to them on Earth and ask each other "Where did all the Atheists, Agnostics, and Buddhists go?"
