The End times?

Question

The Bible says in the end times there will be wars and rumors of wars. Also natural disasters. The falling of the twin towers was manifestation of what prophecy?

I am assuming you will cite Isaiah 30:25.
Personally I believe this is still future because of its context. I suspect the time of its fulfillment will be the great final earthquake mentioned in Revelation 16:17-21

No one prophesied buildings as tall as the World Trade Center towers. 'Rumors' of wars? There are none. When you can see every portion of the planet by satellite whenever you want to and the internet dispenses news of events 90 seconds after they happen, you KNOW whether or not there's a war going on. No rumors of war, just war.

There have ALWAYS been natural disasters, and wars have been around since man has been around. Always. Can you spell always? A L W A Y S. Enough with the friggin 'end times' already. Get a grip and a life, not neccessarily in that order.

This is just birth pangs. Wars and rumors of wars have always existed. Natural disasters have always existed. The end times couldn't have started before 1948, the year Israel became a nation again. We are told it is to start in that generation, and a biblical generation is 70 years, which gives us until 2018 for things to heat up.

There has been wars and natural disasters from the beginning of time. The difference between then and now is the ability to report such events. What about the Ice Age? That would have been a major event.

One of the greatest natural disasters the Earth has ever had was the massive sheet volcano flows In (what is now) Siberia 251 million years ago. Covered an area nearly the size of the continental USA in 400 feet of lava (google Siberian traps), put enough CO2 into the atmosphere that global warming followed. 90% of all genera, 96% of all species and more than 99% of all biomass became extinct. Now that's real Old Testament wrath of God stuff. Whatever those synapsids (early reptile/mammal transitional species) were doing really annoyed God.

We have been in the end times since Jesus ascended into heaven. No one knows when he will come back it might be tomorrow or it might be thousands of years from now. But the end times are hear, which is why we hear wars and rumors of war.
There is no prophesy concerning the falling of the twin towers.

I can't do better than emily but I would like to add that this war was different like she said because it involved all the nations hence world wars .
The earthquake and tidal wave was so huge it moved the earth on its axis.
But the best was Matthew 24: 21 where it says that all flesh will be destroyed or could be. that and only that could be done with the invention of the nuclear bomb.

Matthew 24 Chapter is when the apostles asked Jesus how will we know we are in the last days?
He told them that there would be wars and rumors of wars but this war would be different. All nations would be involved and all kingdoms. Matthew 24:7 that would be world war 1 and 2.
verse 8 says that these are only the beginning of the pangs of destress. So that was when it started.
Then it describes the nations that turned to communism and killed people for being a Christians. Some middle eastern countries do that to.
During the last days it is difficult to raise children we have so many times to corrupt them from drugs to maryjane to immorality. To homosexuality. Before this time period people didn't talk about such things.
Matthew 24:22 In fact, unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved alive.
that says a lot. Before no matter how vicious the war there would have always been a survivor. A all out nuclear war would kill all flesh. But God also said he wouldn't let that happen because of the chosen ones.
We have had false christs and false prophets. Even some said: " We now have God in the White house." But it turned out to be a false statement. Life is closer to The end than ever before.
We have problems in every part of society.
Matthew 24:36 goes on to say that we don't know the day or the hour but we do know the time period.
The generation that saw world war 1 and 2 is about to pass away and it says that generation will not pass away.
Matthew 24:37 But just as the days of Noah so it will be in the time of the end it will come upon them suddenly.
Saying they were eating and drinking and suddenly that day came on them. Nothing wrong with eating and drinking but are we paying attention to world events?
Other minor prophets spoke of our day. Probably has nothing to do with it but it sounds like it does.
Everything in the bible has a three fold meaning. Otherwise why record it for the people today?
One of the minor prophets Habakkuk talked about such a thing. With almost a clear discription of it.
Habakkuk 1:8 it talks of the Chaldeans but couldn't it also have a meaning for our day?
Horses swifter than leopards, fly as the eagles. fiercer than wolves. Eagles diving for food go 200 miles per hour.
gather up captives as the sand. in other words without number. laugh at the kings. for they shall heap up dust.
putting this power to his God. Catches them in an evil net.
They have no ruler over them. Chaper two: stand at my watch set me upon the tower. Says that this vision should be wrote down because it was to happen at the time of the end.
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
5 he is a proud man, neither keepth at home. Who enlarge his desire. It is as death and cannot be satisfied. But gatherth unto him all nations.
verse 6: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb. Woe to him that increases that which is not his.
8 because thou has spoiled many nations all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee.
12 woe to him that buildith a town with blood. and establish a city by inquity!15 they walked through the sea with thine horses [war equipment] through the heap of great waters.
16 great fear fell upon the people it sounds like. Because they were invaded by these troups. Then the fig trees wither and the vines and there is no meat. Plants don't produce anything.
Maybe a nuclear diaster?
Zechariah 14 This is what is going to happen in the last days.
14:12 There will be a rotting away of one's flesh while one is standing upon one's feet. their eyes will rote away in their sockets. and their tongue will rot away in ones mouth.
that is exactly what a nuclear bomb does. How did they know that? Who were they talking about in this time of the end?

Name a single 5 year span when a war wasn't occuring somewhere in the last 3000 years.
