Here's the story my friend (she's 17) was walking to her car from school and there's this path where people cross to get on the other side well she was walking and a car was speeding up and the girl driving (also 17) ran over her foot and stopped. She acted like she could care less. Everyone told her to move back but she didn't then after a minute she moved back. Her foot is totally black and I don't know if it's broken and everyone there was saying oh you can walk home when she was about to cry. She went to the clinic to get an x-ray and the principal did nothing about it. What would you do in this situation or what do you think she should do?

There was a woman there who wanted to call the police but instead they went into the school and talked to the principal and it was on school ground. The person that she is she doesn't want attention or people to get into trouble.

Go to the police. If the driver left the scene of the accident without giving their information, they have committed a hit-and-run.

It sounds like this may have happened outside of school property, which may be why the principal cannot get involved.

Al least the driver should be paying for all her medical bills. If not, sue in small claims court. Pedestrians always have the right-of-way.

Sounds a little suspicious!. It's almost impossible for a foot to be run over by a car, without coming in contact with another part of the vehicle, unless you're lying down. If her foot is all black, I'm sure she wouldn't be able to walk. If this is a legitimate auto accident, call the Police, as required by law.

If it didn't happen in the school parking lot (or on school grounds) the principal can't do anything.

Call the police now. Not only is that a hit and run, it may also be assault and battery.

Call the police and have a proper report made out. She might have to file charges against her and sue . What happens if her foot is screwed for life, Never mind what your friends say, Their not the ones with the screwed up foot.

I'm a bit curious...

Why didn't the girl move away from the car approaching her...or was she just tempting fate?

Where are her parents and why didn't they inform the police or school officials?

Somethings not quite right with this picture!
