i want to visit someone who lives in a different town but i don't want to invite myself; i want them to invite me. how do i hint that i'm free and that i might like to visit without inviting myself?

ask them what they are doing on saturday(or pick a day you're free) then say......can i come over. its not rude because you're not inviting yourself round. you're asking them. if they didnt want to go there then they have to chance to say no.
just ask them. you cant wait around for someone else to ask first.

This is a good question. I've been hoping to get an invitation from a friend in Florida, I live in a northern state, but all the hints I've dropped has done no good. I hope you get a good answer!

ask them what is a really good thing to do is around their town or what they would like to do there and show real intrest in it the more excited you seem about it without looking like a psyco the more you will be open to an invite
