"Genesis 1:27
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. "

Genesis 2:20-22
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. There appears to be a contradiction because EVE was WOMEN NUMBER TWO. The first wife was Lillith. She was Adam's equal partner but he wanted dominion over her and she would have none of it so he gave her the the boot. Of course the story goes on to say that as punishment for refusing to lie under her man during coitus she was made demon and mother of all demons - WAAAAH God she won't listen to me - poor poor Adam said god, don't worry she was a ***** any way - here take this one, she should be more compliant (sucker) - F'ckin jealous sour grapes men - nothing has changed - blame it on the strong woman when the man is weak and worthless.

Go up a little further in the 2nd Chapter of Genesis and you'll discover that Adam was created on the third day (before any plant was in the field, etc.) ... as opposed to the sixth day referred to in the 1st Chapter when he created men and women TOGETHER and apparently in bunches. Another contradiction that is ignored by fundamental Creationist Christians.

Aha! One of soooo many contratictions...makes you think, doesn't it?
In all truthfulness, Adam & Eve were created as a way of explaining a beginning...the start of "the greatest 'story' ever told". And that is all there is to it.
If you look into the creation of this anthology, you will see that it was a time in our history where women were being negated from the power balance...it was the true pupose of the Inquisitions....and we reap the consequences of that take-over today, don't we?

After noon.

Gen 1:27 was the title, or intro. Gen 2:20 gave the details.

Neither. It became Adam! (genuinely there is not any theory of unique sin meaning human beings are thoroughly evil-- in the Bible - that became extra by technique of Christians extremely than 'unique sin' Jews have self assurance human beings have an evil inclination - the snake-, which through God we practice the strong inclination to be more advantageous energetic than the evil one until eventually the evil one disappears.) Adam sinned first. (Adam began out as both the guy and the female. They were both called Adam, and then the female became pulled out of him). Then Adam sinned back. The communication in Genesis the position he places the blame on Eve and/or the Snake G-d did not purchase and became exceedingly aggravated by technique of his habit after the actual fact. It turned right into a cop-out. He became the only which became in charge and he blew it, then threw the female lower than the bus, yet another sin. Then once they were despatched out of the backyard of G-d (Paradise the position they were close to to God for all time) he named the female - yet another sin - he became no longer urged to call her, merely the animals. This became an act of domination and a effect of being break away G-d. even nonetheless it turned right into a effective call, it became out of position for him to call her. They both did the deed, notwithstanding the guy became in charge to keep the command and he did not. He would have very easily suggested, i ought to like to Eve, yet G-d suggested no, so enable's do not. He did not say that or provide any suggestion that he had. as far as curses and punishments pass, in case you study the Hebrew it became the SNAKE who became cursed to move slowly on the floor and devour dirt. Neither the guy nor the female themselves were cursed. the floor became cursed to make the guy artwork more advantageous sturdy as a effect of his being shrink off from close courting to G-d. the outcomes (no longer curse) of the female became that for the time of being far remote from G-d she ought to have discomfort in bringing forth toddlers and this breach of courting with G-d ought to deliver forth a domination by technique of her husband. It wasn't a curse, it turned right into a effect. higher animals and human beings have a tendency to dominate. it really is not any longer the way of G-d, it really is a effect of being remote from G-d. it really is a mission it extremely is to be repaired no longer etched in stone as a thanks to pass. This tale has been twisted by technique of unscrupulous men for 1000's of years and used as an excuse to misuse females.

No contradiction........we simply get the full description in the next chapter.
Chapter 1 acts as a summary of chapter 2...

So it's in reverse....big deal.....doesn't make it any less true
