I have had many thoughts on this issue, and have even went to a past life regression session period. According to the session I attended in my past life I was an officer in the German army, yes Nazi. Apparently I was in commend of one of the death camps in Poland. At the end of the second world war I was shot and killed by the invading Russian army. I have no reason to believe this is true, however I have had an interest during this life in World War II and in particular the German army.

Reincarnation is a belief shared the world over, since ancient times. However, you will not gather much just by asking people what or who they were in previous lives.

Perhaps you should go to communities where strange phenomena (that cannot be explained except by reincarnation) have occurred. If a child gives details of events that occurred long before he or she was born, and you know for certain that nobody could have related such events to him or her, then you start wondering if the child was not witness after all.

As a Pagan (Wiccan specifically) I believe in reincarnation. I have not recovered any memories from past lives yet, but I plan to one day with past life regression.

No.

Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment ... (Hebrews 9:27)

Catholics and most other Christians believe there is no "reincarnation" after death.

Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When "the single course of our earthly life" is completed, we shall not return to other earthly lives.

With love in Christ.

Yes, I guess I can say I believe in reincarnation.
I think that once you die, and return to God, you can choose to go back and learn more lessons about life.
I don't think you are meant to know who or what you were, but, maybe that is what De javu is? (may have spelled that wrong)

Just because I believe in rebirth doesn't mean we all know what we were in past lives... you have to either have the karma to remember or become a Buddha for that.
