The better question you should be concerned with is, will God ask me to off you? He's already told me to burn things.

Any how, look at the terrorists and ask them who told them to blow up innocent people.

My question for athiests and Christians or diests of any kind is, if there were a God, why would any of us think we could possibly understand him/her?

And why do athiests and religionites argue? It would be like a Yankee's fan trying to convince a Red Sox fan that the Yankees were better. It's futile.

No. And God would never ask me to do it. : )

If you are referring this to Abraham, God knew that He did not actually make Abraham to kill his son. And Abraham knew that too. God has never since then asked anyone to have human sacrifice. The ram God provided for Abraham is over shadowing Jesus as a perfect sacrifice.

No, I'd think I was suffering form a mental illness if I started hearing voices telling me to kill people.

Oh, and I'd stop worshiping that god because if it was real, it would mean said deity was malevolent and as such wouldn't be worthy of worship.

I know that in the Bible he asked Abraham to kill his son but when Jesus died on the cross he made it so we didn't have to keep sacrificing animals and in Abrahams case, his son. So now I know God would never ask me to kill anyone, that is what His Word tells me.

Theists just love killing and murdering, as well as rape, theft, incest and lots of other immoral acts. Just read their holy books, and you'll see it all.

And they always say they are doing gods work. I find it really confusing that they claim atheists are the ones without morals.

Atheism. You know it makes sense.

If they gave me a damn good reason and argument ed it, and if I agreed with it.
I don't need to growl before my gods and I'm not a slave to obey them mindlessly.
It's a relationship based on respect and if somebody just ordered me to do something so drastic, I could quickly lose my respect for them,if there wasn't some really damn good reason, like, for example, kill some guy on the street, otherwise he will kidnap and rape my 5 year old niece or something. Even then, it would have to be on DAMN good foundations for me to do something so drastic.

I'd kill God because even though I am agnostic, God wouldnt' be asking me to kill so therefore Satan is pretending to be God... if I believed....

No, I would never murder my child because a God told me to. That is beyond comprehension. That alone would make me reconsider worshiping the God.

hmmm I seem to remember the Jewish/Christian God asking Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, yet someone said that isn't in their God's (the same one) nature.
