People look prettier, I feel better, all the colors seem brighter, i can see ghosts, i can understand what my cat is saying, i can hear and see things other mortals cannot. This ghost thing that hangs out is not dangerous right? it is on my side?

While most of what you say sounds a bit crazed...
It's very common to perceive the world differently when one's consciousness changes. It happens to me every time I learn something entirely new or valuable.
So, the sensations you feel aren't exclusive to Christianity (alot of it sounds rather schizophrenic).

Probably pyschological. You believe - so your mind is comforted.
