If it's just that you don't have yeast on hand, then beer bread is a good option - there is yeast in the beer. There are several good recipes available online.

But if you don't want to use yeast at all, there is really nothing that will rise like bread. You could try what's known as 'quick breads': they are dense rolls and small loaves leavened with baking powder and soda instead of yeast. Irish soda bread, cornbread, biscuits and scones are some examples you might want to look up.
Good Luck!

Here's one and there are a few at the below links

SODA BREAD
Ingredients
170g/6oz self-raising wholemeal flour
170g/6oz plain flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
290ml/½ pint buttermilk

Method
1.Preheat the oven to 400F/200C/Gas 6.
2. Tip the flours, salt and bicarbonate of soda into a large mixing bowl and stir.
3. Make a well in the centre and pour in the buttermilk, mixing quickly with a large fork to form a soft dough. (Depending upon the absorbency of the flour, you may need to add a little milk if the dough seems too stiff but it should not be too wet or sticky.)
4.Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly.
5. Form into a round and flatten the dough slightly before placing on a lightly floured baking sheet.
6. Cut a cross on the top and bake for about 30 minutes or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Cool on a wire rack.

Quick breads are made without yeast - Banana, Date Nut , corn etc.
Here's one for you
BANANA LOAF

In a bowl combine the bananas with the sugar and eggs until well blended. Stir in the remaining 2 cups flour, baking soda, buttermilk, and the remaining 11 tablespoons butter. Fold in the pecans and mix well.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 55 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 2 hours.

Breads without yeast are often called "Quick breads". Banana bread is a quick bread.

It's smart to have a banana bread recipe on hand when you buy bananas by the bunch as the last few often get overripe before you're ready to eat them. When you want to cook with bananas, wait until they're slightly overripe, with lots of brown spots and the fruit slightly mushy and glossy.

You can peel and freeze overripe bananas until you're ready to use them.

Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup toasted pecan pieces, chopped [See note]

Method
Heat the oven to 350°

Puree bananas in a food processor; transfer to a bowl. Set aside. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.

Beat eggs and the sugars in a large bowl with a mixer on high speed until thick, about 3 minutes. Add the bananas, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat until thoroughly blended. Reduce speed to low; add the flour mixture in three portions. Fold in the walnuts with a spatula.

Transfer the batter into a greased 9” x 5” loaf pan with the bottom lined with greased parchment paper. Bake until a wooden pick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, about 1 hour, 10 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes; invert the pan onto a wire rack to unmold. Set aside to cool, about 1 hour. Slice with a serrated knife.

Note:
Toast pecans in a small dry skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until aromatic, about 5 minutes.

It has to be soda bread, easy to make, lovely to eat and it freezes well!
Easy recipe:

400ml milk with 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, leave to one side until thick
10oz SR flour
10oz wholemeal flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Sift flours together with salt and bicarb, add soured milk in one go and mix well to a stiff dough. Knead lightly to a smooth ball. Cut into two and put onto lightly floured oven trays, flatten into a disc shate and mark each one into eight portions with a knife,
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 15 mins at 230 degrees C and a further 15 mins at 200 degees C.

Works every time. Tip: it's worth wrapping the loaves in clean tea towels when you take them out until cool to get a lovely soft finish.
