Everytime they show it on TV I think it's hilarious, it's not like the guy was in mortal danger or got hit in the knee with a nightstick, or fell in a rosebush or anything. Now if she had hit him over the head with the skateboard, that would have been "brutality". To show off like that when someone is telling you not to do something, he got what he had coming to him. I suppose the police officer's ten days suspension was because she did it in front of a camera?

You know, that's what's wrong with our country.

That officer got suspended for that BS.

If that skaters parents had been spanking him when he was younger, he would have better learned how to respect other people's property.

If teachers and police officers could do that type of thing on a regular basis, there would be a huge change in the amount of respect coming from our youths.

Unless parents want to step to the plate.

And yes, I thought the video was hilarious. Prompts to that officer!! (and not just because the kid looked like a punk and was a skater -- well -- that too!)

It's difficult to comment about this case as the video of the incident shown on the news didn't show what occurred when the officer FIRST showed up. My recollection was what happened just prior to her pushing the offender.

Despite that, I somewhat feel that the officer COULD have told the offender to get off the skateboard instead of pushing him. Needless to say, that didn't appear professional on television.

I do agree that the skaters actions could cause problems in the neighborhood and lacks concern for the property that could have been damaged as a result of his actions. Therefore....I can't disagree with the comments that his mother should have done more than "spare the rod."

Best wishes and thanks for the chuckles!

the toddlers deserved all the punishment they have been given from Officer Rivieri and greater. they'd desire to have conventional that skateboarding in the interior harbor replaced into unlawful, and that they'd desire to have conventional to handle an officer with appreciate. I wager they gained't dedicate an identical crimes lower back, yet regrettably, Officer Rivieri would desire to be the only police officer available who knows a thank you to tell it like it quite is to lawbreaking toddlers.

lol, those scars he had, half likely that he had them before she pushed him over skateboarders are always getting themselves banged up.

She did lose her anger too easily though. that push was unnecessary.

Must do what the cop says in a second or less or else they will push you! lol really he had his adreneline running, I doubt he could hear the cop telling him to stop.

I think it's sad that the kid had no respect and forced them to do that. He definately had what was coming to him. I think what happened to him was hilarious, but why it happened is just another sign the country's going down the drain.
