I was at the Ford dealer looking at new Fusions. I drove one I really liked, but it had some equipment I didn't like. The dealer said he could get one for me that was identical minus the extra equipment I didn't want.
Should I have agreed and bought the car then? The dealer said it would cost a couple of hundred to get it there, so they weren't willing to bring it unless I bought.
I did end up signing. Was that a stupid mistake?
What would have happened if the car came and was not what I wanted? Could I still back out after signing the papers the previous day? This would be in California.

Additional Info:
The dealer did provide me a copy of the window sticker. I picked up the car. It had a spoiler I did not remember seeing on the window sticker. I wasn't really that keen about the spoiler, but I figured I had paid for it anyway, and it didn't look too bad. So I completed the purchase, gave them the down payment and drove home.
The car is great in every respect otherwise. Live and learn, huh?
