If so, what did you think?

Elder Holland's talk was my personal fave...also Elder Bednar's talk. They were all wonderful though...

MistyAnn- you are right, all the world would benefit from the things they teach, not just the LDS - and usually when something is repeated, it's because we really do need to hear it. We don't claim to have "started" those values, but at least we strive to live by them...

The definite side of the equation is that we can always count on the strong opposition to voice their concerns regardless how well they misunderstand the Church.

Nope, sorry I didn't watch General Conference for the first time in 13 yrs. Why would I want to hear the same recycled material this year. Every LDS knows they should pay their tithing, have some food storage on hand, be good to their family, read the scriptures, take care of your body, and attend church. You don't have to be LDS to practice these things. These things have been taught by other religions as well. They are just good common sense for any church going person. The LDS act like they invented family values and clean living.

idahomike, by ANY MEANS? Would you advocate bombing chapels and temples? Sending pipe bombs to church leaders? Maybe just have someone go shoot up a whole class of Primary kids, cause, as the man at Haun's Mill said when he shot an unarmed 10 year old boy in the head at point blank range

"Nit's make lice".

My opinion of the teachings of the mormon cult could not possably be lower. It has led too many, otherwise good people, to become the Lost and Deceived of Satan(LDS). That cult must be resisted by any means.
