I've been on zoloft now for a month 1/2 and I was wonderin if it is a good idea?? Would if it kill me?? Would it make me do crazy things? or would I be ok?? Have a trip to vegas comin up wanna drink.. so Im just curious.. please help..

ITS NEVER a GOOD idea to drink Alcohol. Alcohol KILLS YOUR MIND AND IMPAIRS YOU!

Alcohol and medications are often not a good idea. The key for you should be to drink in moderation and follow your prescription guidelines. If you are planning on getting very intoxicated, the Zoloft could create a higher potency or effect and create potential problems. The risk of death is low but still a risk. You are certainly on the medication for a reason so I would drink with careful consideration. You should be ok with a few drinks.

You should be fine if you stick to clear liquors, like vodka and gin - forget what that killjoy says. A few shots of Jaeger probably won't hurt, either.....

my friend has been on zoloft and respirdal for a couple years and me and him drink all the time and he has never had any problems.

Read the paperwork that comes with your prescription, or speak with your pharmacist.
It is very possible that alchohol will interact poorly with this drug.
