I know there is an option in windows XP that allows user to choose either typical or compact start menu to use, but i just can't find it..
I mean when using compact start menu, all of the options (my computer and etc) in right side column will be shown as icon only...

Right click the Start Button, choose Properties, make sure Start Menu is selected and not Classic Start Menu, choose customize and then choose Small icons
