My girlfriend and I have been together for 7 months.?

I recently called her and left messages and text messages, she works everyday from 5pm to 10:30pm and she also has to study for midterms, is it common if she doesn't return my calls or text messages? Because I'm thinking she's really busy, and by the time she gets home she doesn't feel like talking to anyone, because she's tired. I just want to know if this is a common issue that would happen when she works everyday and has to study for midterms in which that is why she isn't returning my calls or texts...

yeah, she sounds busy. Don't worry about it. Try to talk to her when you know that she has free time.

I do not think that is acceptable. If you are in a relationship, and the person you are with calls you, you should at least call him/her after work and say, I'm really tired, can we talk tomorrow? Someone who doesn't return texts or phone calls at all sounds either extremely self absorbed and inconsiderate, or like a cheating wh*re.

Come on now - you're going to give my answer a thumbs down? You know exactly what people would say if you were a girl, and you said "I called my boyfriend a few times during the day, and he never called me back". People would say "he's cheating". If you really like someone, you return their calls in a timely manner.

If she's always been this way, then she will continue. If this is different for her, then you should ask what's going on. If it's just a day or two, then she's busy. If it's longer, she may be tired of you or annoyed at you, but a conversation will clear that up. Also, before a date ends, you should try to schedule the next date, so you know when you'll see her next.

I agree with the second reply .. you can atleast call the person back and let them know you are not ignoring them. It takes no energy to pick up the phone for 1 minute and explain why you cannot talk. Sounds to me like she is not as serious about the relationship as you are. One word works here RUDE !!

I would think that she would welcome a brief break to at least say hello.. I got your messages but I am really busy and will get back to you as soon as I can. If she is not responding by the next day.. I would ask her what's up?

let it slide, eventually she'll return them. 'What you don't know won't hurt you, its what you suspect that ***** everything up' unless she says otherwise just assume she hasnt had the time to return ure texts and calls, thats usually the case. dont get paranoid.

EDIT: i saw somethin that said a person that doesnt return ure calls might be cheating, in my experience people sho cheat try to cover up and return ure calls as much as possible. paranoya again

anyone can be as busy as her... but texting or calling can be done on less than a minute... and plus...making time to talk to your love one.... that's just what we should all do.
