I just read that the # of calories you should eat is calculated by your weight times 10 and subtract 500 to that I go to the gym 5x a week 45 mins of cardio 30 mins of weight lifting. So according to this it'd be (130 *10)-500= 800 calories?
I'm 130lbs 5'9

why are you trying to lose weight?

Your body weight shouldn't be an issue. especially if you have muscle.

If your obese and jiggly well then by all means go jogging.

Don't diet. You're already light enough.

That's MUCH too low. You shouldn't go under 1200 cals/day without a doc's okay, and anything under 1000 a day needs a doc's supervision. That's simply not enough for an average sized adult body to run on.

To lose weight you need to consume fewer calories than you burn. You can go here http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm for a calculator that'll give you the # of calories you need per day, to maintain or lose weight (based on your height, weight, and activity level).

You are underweight now, according to the "ideal body weight" calculator on that site. A medium framed male of your height should weigh 160 - 164 and a medium framed female 145 - 149. I'm 5'6" and if I get under 135 I start to look poor, but then I have a large frame.

Take care of you!

thats bs.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

look i don't know if you're a male or female but your weight is perfect! You DO NOT need to lose weight! You're tall (if you're a girl) so you can't be only 100 pounds! And going under 800 calories can be dangerous! Don't do it! If you're worried, just jog a little, but don't diet, escpecially not like that! You need atleast 1,200 calories and that would still be dieting!
