just bought a 1600w sub but only have 900W amp, but i have another 600w amp. not sure so let me know

Combining two amps for more power is called "strapping", and it can only be done with two amps specifically designed to work together in that way.

"Bridging" is done with one amplifier, when you combine two channels into a single channel with more power.

You can bridge amps, but I think you want to keep them the same size.

Maybe someone else can tell you if that is correct or not.

well most subs are rated much higer then they can handle.but if you want to bridge it just hook the wires in the same polarity as the other and hook it up.have seen it done many times just make sure you have a fuseable link between ur amp and battery.

certain amps can be strapped or daisy chained together and typically there are adapter cables to do that. refer to the owners manual, but the Will have to be matching amplifiers if they are indeed strappable.
